Dr. Andrea Emmerich
After graduating from Marquette University School of Dentistry, Dr. Emmerich practiced for four years in South Carolina. She feels honored to be back at home practicing dentistry near her family, and she strives to make the entire dental experience comfortable for every patient. She prides herself on staying current with the ever-changing landscape of dentistry. This month, she will graduate from the Dawson Academy’s Core Curriculum to become a Dawson Scholar. Dr. Emmerich is a member of the American Dental Association and American Dental Political Action Committee. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time on the lake wake surfing, cheering on all of Wisconsin’s sports teams, and going to country music concerts!
Dr. Jake Jacomet
Dr. Jacomet graduated from the Marquette School of Dentistry in 2015. Since graduating, he has devoted himself to taking comprehensive courses in order to provide the highest level of complete dental care to his patients. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), which requires over 100 hours of post-graduate implant training. Dr. Jacomet has also completed the Dawson Academy Mini-Residency where he gained extensive training for solving the most complex dental problems. With his long list of experience, accolades, and accomplishments, you’re in good hands with Dr. Jacomet no matter what your dental issues may be.
Dr. Nick Dwan
Dr. Dwan graduated from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2015. Since graduating, he has dedicated hundreds of hours to post-graduate training in order to provide higher quality and a broader range of services for his patients. He has earned his accredited Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantolotists (FICOI) for dental implants, and Scholarship in the Dawson Academy for comprehensive dentistry. From standard general dentistry to cosmetics, root canals, and implants, Dr. Dwan can customize treatment for you. A fun fact about Dr. Dwan is that he is a fourth-generation dentist, having family in dentistry dating back to 1926. When not treating patients, he enjoys fishing, snowmobiling, golfing, and spending time with his wife, Robyn.
Dr. Amanda Brown
Dr. Brown studied at Luther College in Decorah, IA where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology and was a pitcher for the softball team. After graduating, she continued her education to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Brown greatly enjoys enhancing her knowledge of the dental field through continuing education and is inspired by the artistry in dentistry, as she loves to paint and draw. She is passionate about making each patient feel heard and well-taken care of, listening to their needs and desires to create a unique treatment plan fit to their goals. Outside of the dental office, she enjoys spending time with family and her husband Matt. You’d likely find her golfing, watching the Milwaukee Bucks, playing board games or going for a hike!

With over 13 years of Dental Assisting experience, Chanel is a mother of two adorable boys and loves to bring her magnetic personality to the office everyday.
Friendly, charismatic, and professional, Chanel will prepare patient rooms, maintain the office and order all of the necessary supplies to keep the office in great shape–all while getting to know your life story in a matter of minutes. A genius at connecting and making people feel comfortable, Chanel’s personality is inviting and she is happy to explain any questions you may have in simple and easy to understand ways.
Meet Shelly! As a front office receptionist and patient care specialist, she is the first smile that you will encounter when entering Third Coast Family Dental. She has 6 years of customer service experience and over 2 years in the dental field. Shelly strives to give the best version of herself by making everyone’s experience a great one. She contributes to the success of the practice by delivering the highest quality of customer service, interpersonal communication, and absolute patient satisfaction.
Shelly is both fluent in English and Spanish which allows her to communicate with our diverse population of patients. She enjoys decorating, being creative, and keeping her work area as well as the waiting room clean and welcoming. Outside of work she enjoys the comfort of her cozy home and spending time with her loved ones. Shelly has a beautiful stepdaughter and lots of nieces and nephews that she adores. Her favorite time of the year is Fall and her favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas.
Joan has worked in the dental field for 47+ years and has enjoyed meeting many wonderful people along the way. She has nothing but good things to say about her employers and patients. It has given her great satisfaction to see her patients receive excellent dental care and become happier and healthier. Jean is so devoted to her patients that some have become like family. When she is not cultivating lasting relationships with her patients, she can be found cultivating her garden! She enjoys getting outside with her handsome chow-weiner, Scooter, to plant and garden to see her hard work blossom.
Selina graduated from Waukesha County Technical College with a technical diploma in dental assisting. She strives to make patients feel comfortable and at ease. Selina loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys working out and shopping in her free time.
Abby graduated from Milwaukee Career College in June of 2022 with an associate’s degree in Dental Assisting. She chose the dental field because she has always enjoyed going to the dentist. She was also inspired to go into dentistry by her two role models; her sister and her best friend. Abby grew up in Racine, Wisconsin, and has lived in Wisconsin her entire life. She likes to spend time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loves sports such as softball and baseball. She also loves outdoor activities like jet skiing and enjoys a good night of relaxing with friends, drinks, and bonfires.
Meet your new favorite dental care coach when you come in and see Tammy! Having worked with us for over 7 years, Tammy’s gentle and encouraging demeanor makes coming in to our office a blast.
Mother of a spirited young daughter and her just as spirited dog, Tammy understands what it means to get patients of all ages excited about dental care. Kind, thoughtful, and great with kids, she’s had decades of experience in dental care and supporting patients to reach and maintain their best levels of oral health. You’ll always feel like part of the team when Tammy is right there and happy to help.
Meet our new Hygienist Barb, which has 20+ years of hygiene experience. She enjoys keeping up with the latest technology in dentistry to provide the best treatment for her patients. Overall, the first priority is to educate and make everyone comfortable as soon as they walk in the door.
She is married with 2 grown up children enjoys family time outdoors and gardening. Always believes exercise and eating healthy brings a positive day and a healthy mouth brings a beautiful smile.
Meet Jessi, one of the newest additions to our hygiene team. Jessi is a graduate of WCTC and has over 5 years of experience working in the dental field. Her passion for teeth came about after she worked as a hygiene assistant at her childhood dentist’s office. Prior to working as a hygiene assistant, Jessi graduated from WCTC with a culinary management degree.
She not only has a love for dental hygiene and cooking, but in her spare time, you can find Jessi practicing her golf game, shooting some hoops, or spending time with her friends and family. Jessi is happily married and is a dog mom to a very handsome black lab mix named Cooper. Eventually, Jessi would love to have her very own hobby farm and raise chickens, goats, and even some alpacas. Jessi hopes that her passion for teeth will have a positive and lasting effect on her patients.
Jessi loves to educate and keep her patients up to date and informed on the importance of oral hygiene. She not only wants to share that passion with her patients, but she wants to help them love their smiles and be confident every step of the way.
